Risk Control We retain a team of qualified risk control personnel who provide loss prevention services to our clients. Such services include: Risk Control Surveys or Inspections Participation in Client Inspections or Audits Risk Review for Major Projects Presentations at Safety Meetings and Safety Seminars Review and Analysis of Losses and Claims Provision of Technical Information Resources Results of our surveys and inspections include advisory reports, with recommendations for improvements where warranted; and underwriting information reports, including maximum foreseeable or maximum probable loss estimates for assistance in designing or tailoring insurance programs. Risk control surveys or inspections offer many opportunities to communicate best practices with our clients; both in terms of operational and physical hazards. Our risk control specialists have an extensive knowledge base of the causes, consequences and frequency of fires, explosions, machinery breakdowns, spills and other events. Inspections can therefore facilitate discussion of incidents occurring either on site or elsewhere, promoting clients' understanding of these incidents and preventing future losses.
