Corporate Visual Identity
The corporate visual identity (CVI) is an essential element in supporting our business. The design and presentation of the company name, logotype, symbol, corporate colours and typeface give a unique and visible identity to Jardine Lloyd Thompson Canada.
The systematic and co-ordinated use of this identity over a range of applications, for example on stationery, documents, promotional literature, advertisements, signage and promotional goods, among others, helps to differentiate us from the competition.
It is intended that these guidelines will promote the spirit of the corporate identity, but allow as much creative freedom as possible without undermining the core identity.
Advice is always at hand from National Communications Division in Calgary at 403 770 2488 and you should make use of their experience and expertise when designing any printed material, documentation, presentations and/or web based projects.
Primary Identity Elements
The primary elements of the JLT Canada’s corporate visual identity are the basis of the visual appearance of all material.
The symbol and logotype are the most important elements of the CVI and should be clearly displayed on all printed material and documentation used externally. Its consistent use is essential in contributing to a strong and unified worldwide identity.
Symbol
As well as our name we have used a distinctive triangle symbol comprising the initial letters of the group.

Usage Restrictions
The logo should always be displayed on a plain background, utilizing the colour or reversed out .eps logo where appropriate. The logo should not be infringed by any other elements including type, photographs or other logos.
The logo should not be redesigned or altered in any way. It also must not be combined with any logos from other organizations.
The colours for the logo are set as per the provided files. For reference, the Logo colours are PMS 289 (Blue), PMS 485 (Red) and Black. The colour or rendering of the logo should not be changed. We are not able to supply the wordmark as a font, and the logo should not be overwritten with a local font. The provided logos include rendered type.
