The program provides insurance protection for OSPE Members covering their legal liability for errors and omissions or negligent acts in the practice of Engineering.
The policy also provides worldwide coverage, defending claims, no matter where they're made.

Coverage Details
*Policy FormThe coverage is written on a claims-made basis with full retroactivity where applicable.
*LimitsLimits are available on a per claim and aggregate basis up to $5,000,000 per claim $5,000,000 in Aggregate.

    • blanket coverage for legal liability arising out of joint ventures with design professionals;
    • disciplinary coverage providing a $50,000 limit applying to defence costs resulting from disciplinary actions;
    • equity interest coverage for claims made by co-owners on projects where equity interest does not exceed 20%;
    • pollution coverage;
    • blanket coverage for professionals who may be hired on a contract basis from time to time;
    • infringement of copyright coverage;
    • world-wide suit;
    • reimbursement of claims expenses;
    • Occupational Health and Safety Act coverage;
    • loss of documents cover;
    • employee dishonesty cover;
    • defendant's reimbursement when you attend a civil suit, mediation or arbitration - up to $20,000.
